Community Coffeehouse for Cambodian Children

Runnymede United Church held a community coffeehouse style fundraiser for Cambodian children on June 4th at the church. Proceeds from tickets and food went to the Ratanak Foundation, which is dedicated to ending the child sex slave trade in Cambodia. Guests indulged in a wonderful evening of musical entertainment provided by talented members of the congregation and their friends, as well as home made sweet and savoury nibbles and fair trade coffee and teas. It truly was a party with a purpose. For more information or to donate to the cause, contact 416-767-6729 or visit www.runnymedeunited.org.
