Wings of a Dream
On March 20th Biljana Banchotova launched a showcase of her original artworks in an exhibition called Wings of a Dream, which will run until April 3rd at Vivace Studios on 291A Jane Street. Banchotova's work invokes a unique experience of soul medicine journeys from within cosmic relatedness. They are visionary pieces meant to guide viewers to a place of harmony and sacredness, unity and feminine wisdom. She works with oil and acrylic on canvas. As curious seekers milled about her paintings, Biljana's recently produced DVD, Life's Prayer played in the background. Intricately woven dream catchers by the artist, Janja, accompanied the exhibit. Funds from a raffle went towards organizations like Canadians for Children at Health Risk, International School Peace Gardens, and Bridging Heaven and Earth.
