Playing With Clay
On February 6th, Canadians for Children at Health Risk (CCHR) hosted a clay workshop for kids of all ages at the Runnymede Library. Attendees had a fantastic time getting messy with clay, entering a raffle to win toys and books, and indulging in some snacks. By holding fundraising and awareness workshops like this annual event, CCHR aims to prevent disease and mortality in children in Third World countries, developing regions of the Balkans and Canadian communities in need. Plus, kids get one-of-a-kind tutoring from some real live artistic talent! The workshop's facilitator, Biljana Banchotoba, will be opening an art show at Vivace Studios on March 20th.
