Nerds on Wheels looking every bit the part
The Inside Ride at Humberside
On Friday, January 22nd, for the third year, Humberside C.I. hosted the Inside Ride, Canada's first indoor cycling challenge and fundraising event in support of families and children living with cancer. The school's gymnasium was packed wall to wall for two hours as over 25 teams of students and teachers worked up a sweat on stationary bikes for the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation. The music was pumping and words of encouragement were shouted to inspire the participants as they pedaled away. It was a fun 120-minute challenge that had everyone exhausted by the time it ended and, most importantly, proud of what they had accomplished.
