BikesandTransit.com Launches
With millions of dollars having been invested into bicycle-friendly transit, a new public awareness website aims to show cyclists how to take full advantage. BikesAndTransit.com will shed some light on where to go and what to do with the new bike racks on inter-regional transit and local buses.
The website's founder, Donald Wiedman, explained, "With buses joining commuter trains, subways, highway coaches and the ferry in carrying bicycles, local tourism and clean air are in for a big boost this summer."
The website aims to kickstart and help sustain new intermodal transportation behaviours across the GTA - for exercise, local travel and the daily commute.
