High Park Harvest Festival
On Sunday, October 4th, the annual High Park Harvest Festival returned to the historic Colborne Lodge. Despite the damp conditions the event attracted families and friends to partake in the celebration of the harvest in beautiful High Park and enjoy a bevy of activities. It was a great day of family fun that included music, drama, storytelling, wagon rides, nature-themed crafts, traditional lawn games, seed collecting and a harvest lunch in the Children's Garden. It was a wonderful way to start the new season. The annual festival has been held at Colborne Lodge for over 40 years. It was presented by Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, High Park Community Advisory Council, Grenadier Café and Tea House, Ontario Nature, and OPG Biodiversity 2009.
