Old Millside Parade and BBQ
The annual Old Millside Parade & BBQ once again took place near the end of May under sunny skies. This longstanding community event, now in its 27th year, is a great way for families of the Old Millside area to get together for an old-fashioned neighbourhood BBQ. The event kicked off with all the young toddlers dressed up in their favourite costumes, leading a parade through the neighbourhood to Lessard Park where the BBQ was hosted. There were lots of fun games and prizes to be won and fortunately, the weather was perfect. The event was a wonderful opportunity for families to get reacquainted and have some good ol' family fun.
