2008 November > Getting Ready for Showtime

Two dedicated groups of young actors from the Children's Art Theatre School (C.A.T.S.) have been busy rehearsing in preparation for performances in November and December. We dropped in on the October 22nd rehearsals to see the passionate young performers practicing their lines on stage. The first group (ages 3 to 6) was in the second week of eight total weeks of rehearsal for their December 3rd performance of the classic children's story "Where the Wild Things Are." The second group (ages 9 to 11) was preparing for their spooky November 26th performance of "Inn on the Three Sisters," a scary mystery based in a haunted hotel. Judging from rehearsals the performances should be a treat. Both performances are free and will be held at Morningside-High Park Presbyterian Church at 4 Morningside Ave. Check our calendar for times and more dates for C.A.T.S. performances.
