2008 November > Dancing Like the Scots Do
Scottish country dancing is a great way to burn calories and is loads of fun. You can now learn how to dance like they do in Scotland right here in our own community. In early October, SNAP visited one of 10 weekly two-hour lessons being led by experienced instructor Ian Paterson at Swansea Town Hall. In these classes they teach you the basics and get you started on the fun, fitness and friendship of this unique style of dance. No partner is required so all you have to bring is yourself, or a friend if you prefer. If you're not sure you'll enjoy it they've made it worry-free by allowing anyone to try two classes before paying. The classes are held every Wednesday evening.
