2008 November > 50s Sock Hop
Top radio celebrity and oldies show host Brian Master was at the Scarlett Heights Retirement Residence on Thursday, October 9th to spin some rock 'n' roll classics from the 50s for the residents, families and staff. It was a wonderful and nostalgic time as many of the guests and staff were up on their feet dancing the afternoon away to the rhythm of some golden oldies. To keep the dancing energy high, old-fashioned milkshakes and cup cakes were served. And the excitement didn't stop there as door and raffle prizes were given away that featured some terrific 50s music and memorabilia items. Many thanks to the staff of Scarlett Heights and Brian Master for creating such a memorable event.
