2008 November > High Park Harvest Festival
On Sunday, October 5th, the annual High Park Harvest Festival was in full swing at Colborne Lodge and surrounding area of the exciting Children's Garden. It was a beautiful, warm fall day that attracted families and friends to partake in the celebration of the harvest in beautiful High Park and enjoy the many available activities. There was everything from horse and wagon rides, storytelling, face painting and pumpkin carving, to historic tours of the lodge, nature-themed crafts, traditional music and so much more. It was a wonderful day to enjoy the new season with family and friends. The event was organized by Toronto Cultural Services, Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, High Park Children’s Garden and the High Park Community Advisory Council. It has been held at the historic Colborne Lodge for over 40 years.
