2008 November > Pivot Turns Five Years Old Pivot Sport Medicine and Orthopaedics celebrated its fifth birthday with a open house on September 29th. In just five years, Pivot has become one of the most respected sports medicine and orthopaedics fixtures in the community and attracts patients from all over the GTA. Dr. Laura Cruz and Dinah Hampson and their team of experienced staff were thrilled to see so many friends and local businesses in attendance to share in the celebration with them. There was Laurie from Snappers, Kirsten from Retrofit, West End Diagnostics staff, Nicole and Yvonne from StageWorX, two-time Olympian and five-time world champion hockey player Sami Jo Small, and Charles Jewell from Great Lakes Brewery to name just a handful. Pivot served up delicious cupcakes courtesy of The Bake Sale for every one to enjoy and gave away lots of terrific door prizes. Pivot extends a special thank-you to all of their loyal patients who helped make the day possible. Congratulations Pivot on the first five years and we look forward to many more.
