St. Pius X School Christmas Bazaar
In late November, St. Pius X School hosted their wonderful annual Christmas Bazaar. It featured 30-40 local vendors packed into their gymnasium and selling their goods to the students, families and local neighbours. Once again, this year’s event proved to be a great success as it provided lots of fun for everyone. The gym was packed with shoppers busily crossing names off their Christmas lists in just a matter of hours. Many of the crafts and holiday merchandise were actually made by the children from the school. There was a wide selection of holiday bargains and treats to purchase, including handmade crafts, pre-made gift baskets, delicious baked goods, Christmas decorations and ornaments, plus lots of fun games to participate in. Thanks to all the volunteers and organizers who made 2008's bazaar another great success.
